Sunday Post (24) - Why so cold, September?

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

If you participate, and you totally should because the community is amazing, don't forget to link up and if you leave me a comment, I will definitely check out your blog.

The Rules can be found here. And this week's post can be found here.

You'd think autumn started at the beginning of September and I've almost turned on the heating several times already. We even changed to our winter duvet...

I've been slowly getting back into things. I have friends visiting the next few weeks, so my house will be full and when not, I'll be cleaning it to prepare for the next lot. I am quite the introvert and it's stressing me a bit, but on the other hand, they're all close friends.
On my blog lately:
I'm hoping to find more time to blog in the upcoming weeks, there's still a million books waiting for their review. That's if my visitors let me breathe. I'm also writing a lot... and NaNoWriMo is approaching.

And I'm finally reading Nevernight by Jay Kristoff.

I hope everyone has a great week and gets lots of time to read.

  2. I't been fairly cool here, no having to use heat though. Although, everyone at my house says I keep it like a meat locker. ;) I love fall and all the leaves falling. Have a great week and enjoy Nevernight.

    1. I love fall as well with the colourful leaves but I don't like when the temperature drops too fast :(

  3. It's so bizarre to think someplace is getting cold (or at least cooler) already. It'll be hot/warm here for a couple more months. There have been times when we've run the A/C at both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I know what you mean when the visits. I've find company stressful. I feel as if I have to be "on" all the time and can't fully relax - no matter that it's friends or family. Hope it goes well for you.

  4. I understand about stressing out over company. I hope everyone has a nice visit! I hope you are enjoying Nevernight! It's on my TBR pile and I do want to get to it. I keep hearing mixed things about it though. I hope you have a great week!

  5. Enjoy the company, it is fun to have even though it can be a lot of work! :) And hope you warm up some. It's gotten colder here at night and it's supposed to be 80's this week, so I'm not sure nature has made up its mind lol. I'll have to go look at your Truly, Madly Guilty review since I did read that one.

    1. I wish it would be warm for just another 2-3 weeks... and not hot, warm haha. But at the moment my front window has sun and my back window has rain... that's the summary of our weather.

  6. We've had a chilly September here as well, although the upcoming week is supposed to feel like summer again. Go figure, lol.

Oooh, I can't wait to see what you think of Nevernight. That one has been on my TBR for ages.

    Have a wonderful week!

  8. Hope you enjoy Nevernight!

I can totally relate with the stressing thing :( Even if I have close friends coming over or I'm going to be with them, I stress. It's awful and I always feel nauseous.

Hope you have a lovely week, Olivia :)

  9. It cooled down to the 80s here, and it feels chilly after dropping from high 90s suddenly. Hope you have a great time with your friends!

  11. We have gone into Spring here in the Southern Hemisphere and I swear the climate forgot to do Spring and is just rushing into Summer! Wow it's been hot!

I hope you love having your friends there! I always love people coming to visit but it's also awesome to get your house back and back to being quiet (as quiet as mine can get with a 3yo running around).

My September has been CRAZY busy with work and life, so I've barely blogged, but trying to catch up with everyone now.

I need to read Nevernight! I hope that you're enjoying it. I hope I will too!

Have a great week and look forward to catching up with you.
