The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It's hot here in England. Over 30 degrees and humid and these people build houses without AC, so it's not very pleasant. Thinking of just moving permanently into the bathtub to keep cool!
The Rules can be found here. And this week's post can be found here.

Doctor visit #2 is done and they confirmed the first of my troubles is only a cyst. The downside is because of its location they can't remove it without general anaesthesia and I said, I'd prefer to keep the cyst thank you very much. Hopefully by next weekend doctor visit #3 will be done with good news as well. Then #4 is left. Sigh.
On the weekend I had a visitor and we ended up strolling around the Kew Gardens in London. Let me show you a few pictures.
Last week's books: I'm still reading Stephen King's It and also read Thinner by King's pseudonym, Richard Bachmann. Quite a disturbing book.

No AC?? As someone from southern US I can't even imagine a house built without AC. I don't blame you for wanting to relocate to the bathtub.
ReplyDeleteAlso I can't wait to see Wonder Women-- I've heard such good things about it!
My sunday post
Wonder Woman is awesome, honestly. So good! No AC, we get heat like that maybe 5 days out of the year, so no one thinks of adding ACs to our homes... instead we get cold winters, so we all built our houses to keep the heat in! Disaster for those 5 days. But I hope if it keeps getting worse that they'll start building houses with AC.
DeleteThe field of flowers is gorgeous. I want to bring a chair, some iced coffee and a book.
ReplyDeleteUrgh I hate hate hate the heat!! It's been raining here recently, though, so I'm currently loving our weather.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures! It looks so lovely :) And makes me really want to go there, lol.
Ah Wonder Woman!! I am SO SO SO excited to see it, but I'm gonna have to wait till our DVD store gets it in so we can rent it :( But it looks amazing! So glad you loved it!
Happy reading for the week ahead, Olivia :) <3

Hate heat as well. I'd love rain or at least moderate temperatures. I hope you get to see Wonder Woman soon! Have a great week.
DeleteGlad that the latest appointment went well. Hope you continue to get good news!
ReplyDeleteJust the thought of no AC makes me wither. When we visited England several years ago we learned upon arrival that our hotel had no AC. I hadn't even thought to ask! I assumed any hotel would have AC. And naturally it was the hottest late April/early May in years (as everyone delighted in telling us LOL). My husband actually went to a nearby shop and bought a box fan for the window just to circulate the air in the room. Obviously we had to leave it behind but it was still money well spent!

I hope so, too. Thank you! OMG I love the England experience you had, it is my life at the moment haha!
DeleteIt was hot here too- oh man. Although it did cool off late in the week. Hope your weather cools. No AC is tough, I would have a hard time w/o it.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics too, especially that first one!
No AC is the worst... but we get weather like this 5 days out of the year and so it's not worth it. Plus our houses are built to keep heat in. It's the worst! Thank you :)
DeleteOlivia - I'm glad that 1 out of 3 is good news so far! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the lack of AC but the weather outside looks incredible! What gorgeous pics!
I saw Wonder Woman last weekend and I LOVED IT! I'm glad you did too!
Hope you have a great week this week!
It was amazing, wasn't it? :) And thank you for the finger crossing! Good to see you stop by!
DeleteGlad to hear it's not as serious as it could have been! I don't blame you for wanting to leave it alone :) Hope all this is out of your mind soon :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pics. I only have half a million reviews to write. lol
