This week the theme is top ten series I've been meaning to start but haven't and this week's post by The Broke and the Bookish post can be found here.
Series. My weakness. My main problem is that I start a million of them and struggle to finish them or someone (*cough* George R.R. Martin *cough*) takes ages to bring out the next book and I feel like I've forgotten what happened so far and have to start from scratch.
Now, let's look at the ones I haven't yet started.
- Otherland by Tad Williams
- Shadows of the Apt by Adrian Tchaikovsky
- A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
- The Faithful and the Fallen by John Gwynne
- The Ryria Revelations by Michael J. Sullivan
- The First Law by Joe Abercrombie
- The Gentleman Bastard by Scott Lynch
- The Black Company by Glenn Cook
- The Magicians Trilogy by Lev Grossman
What series would you like to start?
I see we have both got A Court of Thorns and Roses on our list! I read the first book about a year ago but will have to reread as there was a lot going on. Good list! Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI'll pick it up as soon as I stumble over it. It's high on my list :)
DeleteThere's a few here on my own TBR!
ReplyDeleteI really hope you like ACOTAR. I loved it but it's definitely polarising it seems... I'm worried it won't be for you.... 😨 I hope I'm wrong!
The Magicians and The First Law - if you read these before me (highly likely!) I can't wait to see what you make of them!
As you know YA is hit and miss with me, it probably has something to do with me being 33 hahaha! But I try everything anyway :)
DeleteI'm older than you!!! ;) I have always adored YA though.
DeleteThat's my problem, too -- I forget what's happening in the series between books coming out and then feel like I need to re-read the previous books before I can continue. *Sigh*
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Yeah... such a dilemma! Hehe! Have a good week!
DeleteI've read The Lies of Locke Lamora and it was excellent! I hope you like it!
ReplyDeleteLauren @ Always Me
I've heard that several times already, so I might bump it up my list.
DeleteACOTAR is decent, but the second book is much better. I still haven't read the third.

Stopping by now :)
DeleteThe only series on your list that I've read is the ACOTAR series, which I loved. The second book was the real stand-out for me but I loved all three.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, The Ryria Revelations should be an awesome read :) and also, yes! The Black Company. I should start that one as well :)
ReplyDeleteSo many series... not enough time!
